18th Anniversary, Politap Reaffirms Commitment to Grow, Excel, and Make an Impact

Ketapang, 7 April 2026 — Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) (Ketapang State Polytechnic, Politap) commemorated its 18th Anniversary through an Open Senate Meeting held in conjunction with Halal Bihalal, attended by the leadership, senate, lecturers, educational staff, and student representatives.

This year's commemoration carried the theme “18 Years of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang: Growing, Excelling, Making an Impact,” reflecting the institution's journey as well as its future development direction.

In his address, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang stated that the anniversary is not merely an annual ceremony, but an important momentum to reflect and strengthen collective commitment.

“The anniversary is not merely a commemoration of growing older, but a momentum for reflection on the long journey we have traveled, as well as a starting point to step further forward,” he said.

He added that over the course of 18 years, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang has shown significant growth through the hard work and collaboration of the entire academic community.

Throughout 2025, various achievements were accomplished, including the Diktisaintek Award in the PTN Satker category for the best IKPA achievement, an award as a strategic partner, as well as achievements by lecturers and students in various fields.

According to the Director, these achievements prove that the institution continues to grow as a competitive vocational higher education institution relevant to contemporary needs.

“We must ensure that every step and innovation we make is able to provide broad benefits, not only for the campus, but also for society, the business world, and industry,” he asserted.

Through this 18th Anniversary momentum, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang reaffirms its commitment to continuously improve the quality of education, expand collaboration, and deliver tangible contributions to regional and national development.
