480 New Students Attend Politap Campus and Organization Orientation

The BEM of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) held the Politap Organization and Campus Orientation (PLOP) for 480 newly admitted students for the 2019 period in the courtyard of the Politeknik Negeri Ketapang directorate building, Saturday (14/09).

Vice Director for Student Affairs of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Epriyandi, in his speech, requested that there be no acts of violence by senior students against new students during the implementation of PLOP.

“This activity is held to prepare new students by transforming their behavior from high school habits into university students,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Student President of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Roni Bia Santo, in his address to the new students, emphasized the crucial role of students in society.

He also highlighted Indonesia's significant history involving students and the youth.

“Therefore, I hope that this activity will produce students who are ready to study at Politap and become youth who can help build the Indonesian nation in the future,” he hoped.
