BAN-PT Conducts Field Assessment for Politap Institutional Accreditation

Ketapang, 1 October 2022 – The National Accreditation Board (BAN)  conducted higher education accreditation held from 29 September 2022 to 1 October 2022. The activity was conducted offline to carry out a Field Assessment. The assessors present were Suharyadi Pancono, Dipl., Ing., MT. Dipl.EL.Ing.HTL,MT. (Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung), Drs. Eddy Edwin, S.Kom., M.Kom (Politeknik Negeri Jakarta), and Prof. Dr. Sahid Susanto, MS (Universitas Gadjah Mada).

The activity took place over 3 (three) days. The opening was attended by the Director, Vice Directors, Higher Education Institutional Accreditation drafting team, Heads of Departments, and Coordinators. Following the opening, activities continued with a Field Observation and the LKPT Data Confirmation Session, while the second day featured a meeting with Polytechnic Leadership, a Session with Quality Assurance Implementers, an LED Data and Information Confirmation Session, a Session with Lecturers and Educational Staff, a Session with Students and Alumni, as well as a Session with Industry Partners and Graduate Employers.

At the end of the activity, the Assessor Team conducted  Independent Work, Discussion of Field Assessment Results, Delivery of Recommendations, and Signing of the Minutes, followed by the Closing of the Field Assessment.

Endang Kusmana, Director of Politap, expressed his satisfaction with the field assessment activity, noting that Higher Education Institutional Accreditation is homework that must be completed to complement Study Program Accreditation.
