Ketapang, 6 October 2022, personality development briefing sessions for the world of work were held in the auditorium of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) from 6 to 7 October 2022, attended by new students of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang across three sessions.
This event was the result of a collaboration between Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Bank Mandiri Ketapang branch, and International Animal Rescue (IAR), aimed at introducing students to the professional world and enhancing their soft skills.
Director of Politap Endang Kusmana, who was present to open the event, encouraged Politap students to take advantage of various student activity umbrella programs, including reasoning, interests and talents, student organizations, entrepreneurship, student welfare, and career guidance. Endang added that higher education graduates must strengthen soft skills alongside hard skills; therefore, events such as student briefing sessions must continue to be developed through knowledge sharing by practitioners.
This student personality briefing for the world of work featured three speakers: Ibu Khamil from Politap, Mas Febi from IAR, and Mas Reza from Bank Mandiri. The new students in attendance welcomed the event with great enthusiasm.
