Director Attends Soft Launch of Certified Internship Program

Located in the Cikarang Industrial Estate, Bekasi, West Java,  on Monday, 30 May 2022, the Director attended the soft launch of the certified internship program. This activity was held to develop Human Resources competencies in Vocational Higher Education Institutions (SDM PTV) in Indonesia and support the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. The event was officially launched by the Directorate General of Vocational Education, attended by polytechnic directors both in-person and online.

The Director General of Vocational Education stated that the Strengthening of Higher Education Institutions Organizing Vocational Education (PTPPV) program through Competency Certification and Certified Internships aims to achieve excellence and global competitiveness. Meanwhile, the Director of Politap welcomed this initiative and encouraged all staff to take advantage of this opportunity.

On this occasion, Director General of Vocational Education Wikan Sakarinto bid farewell following the completion of his tenure as Director General. He expressed his hope that ongoing vocational programs would continue to be developed. Meanwhile, the Director of Politap expressed his gratitude for the Director General's commitment to advancing vocational education, whose dedication has built widespread vocational branding and inspired Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) in building vocational education from the village.
