Director Urges Mapala to Support Building Vocational Education from Villages

The Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) opened the 1st Grand Assembly of Nature Lovers Students BMRB-Politap on Tuesday, 8 September 2020, at the Politap campus. The event was attended by nature lover students from various Study Programs at Politap and the Mapala BMRB Advisor, Hairian Rahmadi.  This 1st Grand Assembly will take place for 3 days from 8 to 10 September 2020.  In his opening remarks, the Director explained the Building Vocational Education from Villages Program, which must serve as a reference in developing programs, including for Mapala BMRB (Berayo  Menggelitar Rimbak Borneo).

The Director added that the institution supports and invites all Mapala elements to take an active role in various activities developed by the campus so that the existence of the Politap campus has an impact on society. Endang gave an example of Mapala showing love for the campus by building a clean campus and demonstrating concern for the environment. Meanwhile, Hairian Rahmadi welcomed the plan developed by the Politap campus to build vocational education from villages. According to him, loving the environment is a noble philosophy held by nature lover students.

Meanwhile, the Head of Mapala BMRB, Ade Untung Pratama, stated that his side is ready to support activities developed by the campus, and for that reason, they will promptly integrate programs developed by Politap to align with the Nature Lovers Students.
