DJP Regional Office Commends Politap Tax Center as Most Active in West Kalimantan in 2021

KETAPANG – Tuesday (28/06/2022). A delegation from the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) Regional Office of West Kalimantan and Ketapang Primary Tax Office (KPP Pratama Ketapang) conducted a collaborative visit to Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic). The visit was carried out to review the Tax Center of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang.

The delegation from the DJP Regional Office and KPP Pratama Ketapang held a sharing session with Politap tax volunteers regarding suggestions, feedback, and challenges faced by Politap tax volunteers. In addition, Mr. Immanuel Daomara Saragih, Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Section, expressed appreciation to the Politap Tax Center for being the most active Tax Center across West Kalimantan in 2021.

Vice Director for Academic Affairs of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Adha Panca Wardanu, S.TP, MP, stated that the existence of the Tax Center and tax volunteers is expected to serve as an effort to foster a culture of tax compliance among the public. According to him, a culture does not form on its own or overnight. Through this program, taxation knowledge can be shared, gradually raising public awareness of tax compliance, which ultimately develops into an ingrained culture within individuals. (Finan Su)
