Ketapang, 21 January 2025 – Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) (Ketapang State Polytechnic, POLITAP) held an information session on the National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) for the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Tuesday, 21 January 2025. Held in the 2nd Floor Hall of the POLITAP Directorate Building, this event was attended by several school principals, vice principals for student affairs, and operators from high schools (SMA), vocational high schools (SMK), and Islamic high schools (MA) across Ketapang Regency and North Kayong Regency (KKU).
The information session featured two competent speakers in their fields. Universitas Tanjungpura (UNTAN) Public Relations Coordinator, Agus Mirza, S.T., M.T., delivered a presentation on the technical implementation of the 2025 SNPMB, including the registration process, selection stages, and admission quotas for new students. In addition, Dr. Anto Susanto, S.ST., M.P., Vice Director for Academic Affairs of POLITAP, explained various scholarship programs available for prospective students who excel academically and require financial support.

Through this activity, POLITAP hopes to provide clear and useful information to school representatives so that they can guide students who are interested in pursuing higher education appropriately. The session also aimed to introduce the processes and opportunities available in the 2025 SNPMB more closely, as well as raise awareness of higher education opportunities and expand access for the younger generation in Ketapang Regency and KKU.
In his remarks, the Director of POLITAP conveyed a similar sentiment, expressing great hope that this outreach activity could provide beneficial information and clarify the admission process for new students, both in terms of technical execution and available opportunities. “We hope that through this outreach, schools in Ketapang Regency and North Kayong Regency can assist students in preparing for the selection, as well as taking advantage of higher education opportunities at POLITAP and other higher education institutions,” he stated.
The event ran smoothly and is expected to help facilitate the selection and admission process for new students at POLITAP and other higher education institutions in Indonesia. (finn)
