This Ramadan, the Civil Engineering Student Association (HMJ – TS) of Politap held a takjil distribution event across several orphanages and for the general public around Ketapang City, Tuesday (26/04/2022).
Event coordinator Deni Wahyudi stated that this activity is part of the work program of the Spiritual Division, titled “Civil Engineering Shares”.
“This activity involves distributing takjil and packed meals to several orphanages, mosques, and members of the general public in Ketapang,” he explained.
Ilham, Head of HMJ-TS, added that the purpose of this event is solely an expression of gratitude and solidarity from Civil Engineering students so that our brothers and sisters can also enjoy the blessing of breaking their fast.
Ilham also explained that the funding for this activity came from three sources: the Civil Engineering Student Association treasury fund, donations from the Department, and donations from Politap Civil Engineering students.
“Alhamdulillah, through this event, we were able to distribute 200 takjil packages and 17 packed rice meals,” he concluded.
