Politap Admits New Students Through Independent Track with Online CBT

New student admissions at Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) utilizes 3 (three) admission selection systems, namely 1). Seleksi Nasional Masuk Politeknik Negeri (SNMPN), this system uses prospective students' interests and talents with academic and non-academic achievements as considerations, 2). Seleksi Bersama Masuk Politeknik Negeri (SBMPN), this system uses report card portfolios. Both systems are conducted jointly across state polytechnics throughout Indonesia, and 3). Ujian Seleksi Mandiri (USM).

Vice Director for Academic Affairs Adha Panca Wardanu explained that the number of new students to be admitted for the 2020/2021 Academic Year is 480 people; based on the SNMPN selection, 62 people have been accepted, 267 people via the SBMPN track, and the remaining USM quota is 151 people. This Independent Selection Exam track uses a Computer Based Test (CBT), which is a written exam that can be taken online or directly in the computer laboratory adhering to health protocols.

The registration period for this USM track is open from 29 June to 20 July 2020, which can be done online through the page http://pmb.politap.ac.id. The written exam using Computer Based Test will be conducted in stages from 24-28 July 2020 through the page  http://cbt.politap.ac.id Selection results will be announced on 30 July 2020 via the page http://pmb.politap.ac.id while re-registration will take place from 3 -14 August 2020 through the page http://pmb.politap.ac.id
