Politap and Masata Collaborate to Develop Tourism Villages

KETAPANG – Friday (24/06/2022). The Director of Politap received a visit from the board of the Tourism Awareness Society (MASATA) of Ketapang Regency in the Director's meeting room. Present at this meeting were the Director, the Cooperation unit, the Head of the Entrepreneurship UPT, and the board members of Masata.

The Head of Masata Ketapang, Setra, conveyed that the purpose of this visit was to plan a synergy between Politap and Masata in developing tourism villages, particularly in Ketapang Regency. Director of Politap Endang Kusmana welcomed this visit, stating that Politap is ready to provide mentoring for 8 (eight) tourism villages, organize tourism village development workshops, and develop a Ketapang tourism information center application.

Politap has a program entitled “Building Vocational Education from Villages” which consists of access villages, partner villages, and tourism villages. In the near future, Masata Ketapang will outline the operational cooperation in a formal partnership agreement drafted jointly with Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic).
