Politap and Polinema Ready to Collaborate in the Mining Sector

The Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) conducted a working visit to Politeknik Negeri Malang on 25–26 January 2022 in order to enhance cooperation to develop the Mining Engineering study program. During the visit to Polinema, in addition to being welcomed by the Director of Polinema, he was also received by the Director of Politeknik Negeri Madiun, the Director of Akademi Komunitas Negeri Putra Sang Fajar Blitar (AKB), and the management of the Department of Mining Engineering of Politeknik Negeri Malang.

During the meeting with the Director and the Mining Engineering management of Polinema, Endang Kusmana conveyed the potential of Ketapang Regency, which is rich in mining natural resources and requires cooperation with other polytechnics to develop human resources needed by industry; therefore, his institution encourages study program collaboration in implementing Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka.

Meanwhile, the Director of Polinema welcomed the collaboration to be carried out among Polinema, Politap, and potentially involving other polytechnics in developing a link and match with the mining industry, especially in Ketapang, West Kalimantan, stating that his institution is ready to collaborate.
