Politap Archer Wins Gold Medal at FORNAS VI

KETAPANG – Monday (04/07/2022). Dewi Rahayu, an archery athlete from Politap Archery, contributed a gold medal in team archery at the 6th National Recreational Sports Festival (FORNAS) VI 2021 South Sumatra 2022. The competition was held at Kamboja Stadium, Palembang, running for 2 days on 2-3 July 2022.

In this national competition, many tough rivals from across Indonesia took part. Securing a medal in this championship was no easy feat. Thanks to the athlete's struggle and persistence, both during training preparation and throughout the competition, she successfully secured the gold medal. Of course, this achievement is inseparable from the support of Politap, which provided training facilities for the athlete in preparing for the competition.

Mr. Hairian, as an Expert Board member of Fespati Ketapang and advisor for Politap archery,  expressed his support and shared his hopes for the future of archery at Politap. He hoped that moving forward, more Politap students would excel, especially in archery. He also hoped that archery facilities at Politap would continue to improve to support the athletes' training process and nurture high-achieving athletes. (Finan Su)
