Politap Director Attends National Polytechnic Directors Forum Meeting

The Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) attended the working meeting of the Indonesian State Polytechnic Directors Forum at Hotel Ciputra Jakarta, 24 to 26 November 2020. This Directors Forum event brought together the Directorate General of Vocational Education and the Director of Vocational Higher Education to align perspectives on several key issues in vocational education.

Endang Kusmana, Director of Politap, stated that this forum meeting was the first in-person event following the pandemic period, although it was also held online for several directors who were unable to attend in person. Topics discussed included the dissemination of Main Performance Indicators (IKU), plans for polytechnic participation in the national higher education entrance selection, and various other crucial issues concerning the development of vocational education.

Following the event, Endang Kusmana stated that Politap is ready to follow up on the various matters discussed during this working meeting. Regarding the IKU, the institution has formulated the 2020–2024 IKU detailed down to the study program level. For participation in the joint university entrance examination administered by LTMPT, Politap will include its applied bachelor's degree study programs, and other key issues will be deliberated in a technical working meeting within Politap scheduled for mid-December 2020.
