Politap Director Joins Polytechnic Institutional Review with Director General of Vocational Education

BATAM – Tuesday (02/08/2022). The Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) attended a briefing from the Director General of Vocational Education regarding various vocational education policies. This event was held in connection with the PBL Expo of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang. In addition to the Director of Politap, also present at this event were  the Director of Vocational Higher Education Academic Affairs, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Batam, the Director of PENS, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Madiun, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya, the Vice Directors of Polibatam, and former Director of Polibatam Eko.

Endang Kusmana, Director of Politap, stated that this meeting was held as a serious yet relaxed conversation. The first session took place on Monday, 1 August 2022, at a corner of Harbour Bay in Batam, followed on Tuesday, 2 August 2022, in the meeting room of the Director of Polibatam. Endang described the discussion as taking place in a very fluid and natural atmosphere, where each participant discussed various issues related to polytechnic institutions.

According to Endang, the Director General was very relaxed and open to receiving various inputs and hoped for concrete steps to be formulated soon to realize them. She expressed readiness to facilitate, especially through various regulations, so that the proposals could be realized in order to improve institutional quality toward enhancing the quality of vocational higher education.
