Politap Disseminates Regulations on Civil Servant Discipline and Sexual Violence Prevention to All Staff

KETAPANG – Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) held a Dissemination of Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 on Civil Servant Discipline and Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 30 of 2021 on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS), within Politeknik Negeri Ketapang on Monday, 6 November 2023, in the 2nd Floor Hall of the Directorate Building of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang.

The presentation on Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 on Civil Servant Discipline was delivered by the Vice Director for General Affairs and Finance, Yusuf, S.ST., MT. In his presentation, the Vice Director for General Affairs and Finance explained that the reason for combining the dissemination of the government regulation and the ministerial regulation was the substantive connection between Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 and Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 30 of 2021.

Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 governs, among other things, the obligations, prohibitions, and disciplinary sanctions that can be imposed on civil servants proven to have committed violations; types of disciplinary penalties that can be imposed for disciplinary infractions; the scope of authority for officials authorized to penalize; and the right to self-defense through administrative remedies for civil servants subjected to disciplinary penalties.

Furthermore, the presentation on Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 30 of 2021 on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education was delivered by Marisa Nopriyanti, S.TP., M.P., head of the Politap PPKS Task Force. As a form of commitment to the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence within Politap, all attending employees were required to sign a Joint Commitment on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence.

The Director of Politap firmly instructed all staff across Politap to comply with and consistently implement the government and ministerial regulations disseminated today, especially regarding employee discipline and performance. (Finan Su)
