The workshop was officially opened by the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang. In his remarks, the Director stated that the output of this activity is to produce higher quality curriculum guideline documents for study programs that can adapt to developments in the industrial world.
“The curriculum being developed adapts to the program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), namely the ‘Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka’ (MBKM) program. Therefore, on this occasion, I hope that this curriculum guideline document can adjust curricula and improve the quality of the learning process in accordance with SN-Dikti while supporting the MBKM program,” he concluded.
The MBKM policy provides students with opportunities to gain broader learning experiences and new competencies through various learning activities outside their study programs, with the hope that it will ultimately produce graduates who are ready to overcome increasingly complex life challenges in this 21st century.
With the development of an appropriate curriculum, it is hoped that Politeknik Negeri Ketapang can produce more graduates who are civilized, knowledgeable, professional, and competitive in this Industry 4.0 era, and contribute to the welfare of the nation. (finn)
