Politap Lecturers and Students Strengthen Capacity Building

Held at the Grand Zuri Hotel Ketapang on Wednesday, 18 May 2022, Politap lecturers and students attended a capacity building event organized in collaboration between the Directorate General of Forestry and Environmental Planning of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the West Kalimantan Provincial Government, and the Ketapang Regency Government.

The assigned Politap lecturers were Irianto SP.,S.ST.,M.MA, Trian Adimarta, S.TP, M.Sc, and Beny Setiawan, S.TP.,M.P, while the students were Iqbal musataqim, Muhammad Ferza, and  Dandi Irawan. All are from the Plantation Product Technology Study Program (TPHP). This capacity building activity was held in the framework of economic valuation of ecosystem services in forested areas outside state forest areas.

According to Vice Director for Academic Affairs Adha Panca Wardhanu, the assigned Politap lecturers and students are expected to enhance their knowledge and participate in discussions on processing techniques and data analysis for the economic valuation of APL forest ecosystem services. This activity is part of capacity building in carrying out planning in Ketapang Regency.
