Politap Lecturers Conduct Food Safety Counseling

Taking place at the Aston Ketapang Hotel, on 29–30 March 2020, food safety counseling was held for Home Industry Food (IRTP) entrepreneurs in Ketapang Regency. The event was attended by IRTP business actors in Ketapang Regency and organized by the Health Office in collaboration with resource persons from Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic).

The Politap lecturers present as resource persons for this event were Trian Adimarta, STP., M.Sc. and Marisa Nopriyanti, S.TP.,M.P. This activity is an implementation of community service so that IRTP business actors understand the conditions for fulfilling food needs from the state level down to individuals, which is reflected in the availability of sufficient food in both quantity and quality, safe, diverse, nutritious, equitably distributed, and affordable, as well as not conflicting with religion, beliefs, and community culture, to enable a healthy, active, and productive life in a sustainable manner.
