Politap Opens Europe Internship Opportunities for Students and Alumni

On Tuesday, 26 April 2022, an online socialization session regarding internships in Europe was held by PT Markija Berdaya for students of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic). The event was attended by the Director, Vice Directors, Politap students, and Politap alumni. PT Markija is a company that provides employment opportunities in Europe to enhance the professional knowledge and international expertise of the Indonesian workforce. The company collaborates with the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (PII), and most of its programs grant additional academic credits and can lead to higher Indonesian degrees or licenses, while also providing international certification and recommendations.

In his opening remarks, Politap Director Endang Kusmana expressed his support for Politap students and alumni to seize the opportunities offered by Markija in an effort to boost their confidence and enhance the quality of Politap graduates.

During the event, Markija featured three speakers: Dr. Ir. Priyono Eko Sanyoto, D.E.A. (Advisor of PT Markija), Hadied Safarayuza SE, BSB, Msc – (Operational Manager of PT Markija), and  Gregah Yudha Purnama ST – (Account Manager of PT Markija). Markija's speakers highlighted several benefits of the two-year internship in Europe, including gaining enhanced professional knowledge and skills, as well as international work experience that will undoubtedly increase participants' value upon returning to Indonesia.

Markija explained that prior to departing for the internship in Europe, several essential documents must be prepared, particularly a passport and visa for Europe, and proficiency in English is required. This language proficiency will also be tested beforehand following registration in the Talent Pool and during the interview stage.
