MALANG – Friday (26/08/2022). Located in the Leadership Meeting Room of the Politeknik Negeri Malang Head Office, a Consortium Workshop of the Mining Engineering Study Program was held, attended by Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic), Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin, and Politeknik Negeri Malang as the host. This event was attended by Directors, Vice Directors, Mining Engineering Study Program heads, and Mining Engineering Study Program lecturers. This event was held to expand partnerships in the field of Mining Engineering to strengthen the quality of learning in the study program.
Endang Kusmana, Director of Politap, stated that a decision had been made to follow up on this workshop, namely that in the near future a joint commitment will be signed involving industry partners, followed by the development of a curriculum taking into account Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) and Key Performance Indicators. According to Endang, this curriculum can be utilized across all study programs in these three polytechnics.
Furthermore, Endang conveyed that the subsequent activity will involve the preparation of instructional materials by engaging expertise in each field so that the materials can be used across the three polytechnics. In the future, this can certainly be expanded into lecturer exchanges, student exchanges, and industrial collaboration. (Finan Su)
