Politap PPID Attends 2023 Public Information Openness Monitoring and Evaluation Consolidation for State Universities

SOLO – Thursday (27/07/2023). The Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) (Ketapang State Polytechnic, Politap) participated in the 2023 Public Information Openness (KIP) Monitoring and Evaluation Consolidation for State Universities (PTN). This Monitoring and Evaluation Consolidation event was held at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Solo on Thursday, 27 July 2023.  This event discussed strategies for managing public information openness in accordance with Law Number 14 of 2008 on Public Information Openness.

The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Partnerships, Business, and Information of Universitas Sebelas Maret, Prof. Irwan Trinugroho, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., representing UNS as the host of the event.

Present as a speaker at this event was Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.H., from Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Solo, who presented material on strategies to achieve the Informative Public Agency predicate from the Central Information Commission.

Also present was Central Information Commission Commissioner Rospita Vici Paulyn, ST, Med,  who delivered material on Strategies for Achieving Agency Qualifications, as well as a technical explanation on filling out the self-evaluation questionnaire for the 2023 Public Information Openness Monev by Central Information Commission Expert Staff Annie Londa, SH, MH.

Coordinator of Information Services, Bureau of Cooperation and Public Relations (BKHM), Emi Salpiati, in her report also expressed appreciation to UNS Solo for collaborating in organizing the State Universities' Public Information Openness Monev Consolidation. Based on Minister of Education and Culture Regulation (Permendikbud) Number 41 of 2020 on Public Information Services within the Ministry of Education and Culture, the duties of the Kemdikbudristek PPID coordinator are to assist, guide, and accompany PPIDs under Kemdikbudristek in public information services and documentation.

The consolidation held is considered to support efforts to improve the governance of bureaucratic reform in state universities, especially in strengthening public information. It is hoped that from this consolidation event, more state universities will achieve the Informative Public Agency predicate. (Januarso/Finan Su)
