BATAM – Monday (26/09/2022). Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) was selected as one of the partners of Politeknik Negeri Batam in implementing the 2022 Wirausaha Merdeka Program (PWM). Based on the selection conducted, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang qualified 25 students to participate in this program.
To prepare for the implementation of the program, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang sent the Vice Director for Student Affairs, Deputy Head of Department, and lecturer representatives to Politeknik Negeri Batam for socialization and Training of Trainers (ToT) held at Politeknik Negeri Batam on 23–24 September 2020 in the city of Batam.
According to the Vice Director for Student Affairs of Politap, this activity was intended to align the perceptions of Field Advisory Lecturers (DPL) for the Wirausaha Merdeka Program; Politap passed 25 students to participate in this activity as part of strengthening Politap graduates' competencies in entrepreneurship. PWM at Politeknik Negeri Batam is developed through Project-Based Learning activities.
According to the Vice Director for Student Affairs, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang is committed to supporting the enhancement of graduate competencies so that graduates possess both hard skills and soft skills.
