Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) and Universitas Tanjungpura collaborated in a new student admission outreach event for prospective students for the 2022/2023 Academic Year organized by LTMPT (Higher Education Entrance Test Agency) in the Politap Directorate hall on 21 January 2022. Attending the event were the Director of Politap, Vice Rector 1 of Universitas Tanjungpura, Politap's Vice Director for Academic Affairs, the technical teams for New Student Admissions from Untan and Politap, as well as sixty school principals from Ketapang Regency and Kayong Utara Regency.
Vice Rector 1 of Universitas Tanjungpura delivered an outreach session regarding new student admission pathways including SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and the independent track in higher education, while Politap's Vice Director for Academic Affairs presented the new student admission system in vocational education, covering SNMPN, SBMPN, and the independent track.
Meanwhile, the Director of Politap conveyed Politap's readiness to serve as a Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) venue in an effort to ease the burden on prospective students, who in 2021 had to take the test in Pontianak City. Considering the vast geographical conditions of West Kalimantan, it is expected that test takers from Ketapang Regency and Kayong Utara Regency will be able to take the exam at Politeknik Negeri Ketapang.
