Politap Wins Second Place Nationally for KIP Kuliah Management

On Friday, 17 June 2022, at Hotel Grand Sahid Jaya Jakarta, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) received an award as the second best manager of the Higher Education Indonesia Smart Program in the Vocational Higher Education category for 2021. This event was organized by the Education Financing Service Center of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology as part of the 2021 Best Indonesia Smart Program Managers Appreciation event.

Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Endang Kusmana, directly received the award presented by the Secretary General of Kemdikbudristek. Endang Kusmana stated via telephone that his institution's management always adheres to the principles of being on time, compliant with regulations, and precise in measurements. Regarding the scholarship targeting, he was confident that Politap has distributed scholarships to underprivileged communities.

The Director added that Politap scholarships, particularly KIP Kuliah, have been distributed to outermost communities, namely from border areas, outermost islands, and transmigration areas. According to Endang, outermost communities urgently require scholarship assistance to improve their quality of life in the future. Endang also expressed gratitude to the KIP Kuliah managers at Politap and all stakeholders involved in the KIP Kuliah scholarship distribution process.
