Politap's 16th Anniversary Open Senate Meeting Attended by One of Its Founders

KETAPANG – Tuesday (23/04/2024). Located in the 2nd Floor Directorate Building Hall of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) (Ketapang State Polytechnic, Politap), an Open Senate Meeting was held to celebrate Politap’s 16th Anniversary. The event was attended by local government officials from Ketapang Regency, leaders of Politap's partner institutions, and Politap staff. A special highlight of this year's anniversary was the presence of H. Abdul Bad, one of the founders of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang.

In his speech, Director of Politap, Mr. Irianto, outlined the history of Politap as well as the achievements Politap has accomplished during its 16 years of existence. He also expressed his gratitude to all parties involved in Politap's achievements.

“Politap’s achievements are inseparable from the role of the entire academic community and collaboration with stakeholders. Therefore, we should be grateful for this blessing, and we certainly express our gratitude to the entire Politap community and stakeholders who have contributed to achieving these current accomplishments,” he said.

He added that Politap currently holds a “GOOD” accreditation status and is committed to continuously improving the accreditation status to “VERY GOOD” and up to “EXCELLENT,” as well as enhancing the quality of graduates.

Politap graduates are expected to possess expertise and skills in the field of applied technology that align with the needs of society and industry at local, national, and international scales.

In an effort to achieve this goal, Politap has implemented the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) curriculum and the PBL (Project-Based Learning) system in its learning process.

May Politeknik Negeri Ketapang continue to advance so that it can make increasingly tangible contributions to development in Indonesia, particularly in Ketapang Regency.
