Registration for prospective new students of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) admitted through the SNMPN (National Selection for State Polytechnic Admission) track for the 2020/2021 academic year is open from 24 April to 8 May 2020. Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Endang Kusmana, stated that the institution has implemented home-based registration for prospective new students through an integrated information system between Politeknik Negeri Ketapang and the bank. Endang added that prospective students do not need to worry about checking announcements on the Politap campus, going to the bank to make payments, or re-registering by submitting physical documents. By staying at home, prospective students can complete their re-registration and be officially admitted as Politap students.
Politap Vice Director for Academic Affairs Adha Panca Wardanu stated that the procedure for prospective students who have passed through the SNMPN track, as determined by the Director through Director's Decree number 519/PL39/KPT/2020 dated 23 April 2020 (including the amount of UKT (single tuition fee) to be paid by prospective students), involves completing re-registration through the following mechanism:
1. Prospective new students log in to the pmb.politap.ac.id application using the applicant ID and PIN obtained during initial registration,
2. Click financial history, where prospective new students will see the specified tuition fee bill,
3. Make the payment by generating a virtual account, which can then be paid through several methods:
- Cash deposit via teller at a Bank Syariah Mandiri branch office.
- Transfer via the nearest ATM with the virtual account as the destination account.
- SMS banking or internet banking.
- Tokopedia (open the top-up menu, click the education fees menu, select Politeknik Negeri Ketapang).
- Payment via Indomaret cashier (show the virtual account).
4. After making the payment, upload the documents via pmb.politap.ac.id through the Re-registration menu.
5. Print the verification receipt; prospective new students are now officially admitted as Politap students for the 2020/2021 academic year according to the chosen study program,
6. Always follow announcements on pmb.politap.ac.id to obtain updates regarding new student admissions.
Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Endang Kusmana, added that various information system service facilities for Politap students have been prepared so students will receive the best service from Politap, including:
1. Teaching and learning process via siakad.politap.ac.id
This application provides services to students including selected courses, class schedules and rooms, lecture attendance, grading, printing Study Plan Cards (KRS), printing Study Result Cards (KHS), printing exam cards, consultations, lecturer materials, lecturer performance evaluations, and various other features accessible via smartphone or internet connection,
2. Field Work Practice services via simadu.politap.ac.id
This application can be used by students to register for Field Work Practice (PKL) or internships online, manage supervision, exams, and PKL/internship reporting
3. Final Project services via simadu.politap.ac.id
This application can be used by students to register for Final Project writing online, manage supervision, exams, and Final Project reporting
4. Scholarship registration service via simadu.politap.ac.id
This application can be used by students to apply for scholarships online.
