Held in the 2nd Floor Hall of the Politeknik Negeri Ketapang Building, the symbolic handover of the scholarship was presented by PT Cargill to the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, witnessed by Assistant II of the Regional Secretariat of Ketapang Regency representing the Regent.

Director of Politap, Irianto SP, S.ST., M.MA, stated in his remarks that this year marks the 7th year PT Cargill has provided scholarship assistance to Politap students, running continuously since 2017.

The handover of this scholarship assistance is a meaningful moment for Politap and PT Cargill, serving as a tangible form of close cooperation between educational institutions and industry in supporting higher education in Ketapang Regency.

He explained that Politap’s ongoing activities are inseparable from the role of the local government, industry, and stakeholders who actively support the Tridharma of Higher Education, including the provision of scholarships for Politap students.

“Scholarships from the industrial sector are highly expected to help students complete their studies, both for underprivileged students and high-achieving ones,” he stated.

The Director continued, “Scholarships offer great benefits to students because they provide high school graduates with the opportunity to pursue higher education, lighten parents' financial burden in covering tuition fees, strengthen resumes when alumni seek employment, and allow students to focus more on their studies.”

Furthermore, the Director of Politap advised the scholarship recipients to make the best possible use of the scholarships received by studying even harder and always abiding by campus regulations. He also expressed hope that this scholarship would motivate other Politap students to continue excelling and developing their potential. (Finan Su)
