Bulog Ketapang Welcomes Vocational Education Dual System Model

The Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic), accompanied by Martanto, Person in Charge of Partnerships, and partnership staff Amanda, conducted a working visit to the Ketapang Subdivre Regional Division of Bulog on Monday, 15 September 2020. The Director of Politap was welcomed by the Head of the Ketapang Subdivre Regional Division of Bulog, Meidi Firus, and staff. This working visit aimed to share information regarding the implementation of student internship programs, industry lecturers, and the application of case-method learning and team-based project learning.

The Director of Politap conveyed the latest policy from the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding the link-and-match policy between vocational education and industry. According to him, vocational education must be closely aligned with industry, including curriculum development involving industry participation, student internships, industry lecturers, lecturer internships, and graduate recruitment, making the sharing of information regarding vocational education policies essential.

The Head of the Ketapang Subdivre Regional Division of Bulog, Meidi Firus, welcomed the visit of the Director and the Politap partnership team, stating that his party supports learning implementation that emphasizes graduate competency through the Dual System model. According to him, Bulog fully supports efforts to enhance the quality of human resources in Ketapang, particularly in improving the quality of vocational education, which is greatly needed by the community.
