The Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) conducted a working visit on 17 September 2020 to PT Bumitama Gunajaya Agro (BGA), a company operating in oil palm plantations and mills across West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and Riau. Accompanied by the Partnership team, the Director was received by PT BGA's leadership in Ketapang.

During this meeting, the Director aimed to follow up on a broader and more targeted partnership with the company. Currently, cooperation between Politeknik Negeri Ketapang and PT BGA has been established for curriculum development and student internship programs. In line with vocational education policies that emphasize strengthening link and match, this working visit is both crucial and strategic. The institution hopes the partnership will be expanded within the framework of "Politap Membangun Vokasi Dari Desa" (Politap Builds Vocational Education from the Village). Meanwhile, BGA, represented by Mr. Badri, stated that his company has consistently supported Politap's efforts to align educational implementation at Politap with the industrial world, particularly at BGA.

Both Politap and BGA agreed to deliver a more detailed action plan regarding institutional cooperation between Politeknik Negeri Ketapang and PT Bumitama Gunajaya Agro (BGA).
