Director and Pontianak City DPRD Brainstorm Role of Information Technology in Developing Tourism Potential and Creative Economy

PONTIANAK – Monday (31/10/2022). Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) Endang Kusmana conducted a working visit to build relationships and brainstorm the role of Information Technology in developing tourism potential and the creative economy. Present at this meeting were the Chairman of the Pontianak City DPRD, the Vice Chairman, and several members of the Pontianak City DPRD.

The Director of Politap shared the implementation of information technology applied at the Politeknik Negeri Ketapang campus, which has made it a paperless campus. This gathering also discussed several matters related to tourism potential, entrepreneurship development, and the creative economy.

Endang Kusmana encouraged the development of an entrepreneurial mindset, the creative economy, and the tourism potential of Pontianak City as key sectors supporting post-pandemic community economic growth, serving as sectors that provide a multiplier effect for post-pandemic economic recovery.
