Taking place in the Director's meeting room on Monday, 7 February 2022, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) held an evaluation meeting on the 2021 Integrity Zone implementation with the team implementing the Integrity Zone Towards a Corruption-Free Area/Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area. This activity aimed to evaluate shortcomings in 2021 and formulate the 2022 action plan.

The Director stated that based on notes from the Ministry of PANRB, an overview of the ZI-WBK implementation revealed that survey results did not reach the minimum threshold of 3.60, preventing the assessment process from proceeding to the next stage. In addition, the management and supervision of student works, especially those of alumni, had not been carried out optimally, and oversight needs to be improved, particularly regarding risk mitigation against potential conflicts of interest, gratification, and other integrity violations.

The Director added that recommendations to be implemented include establishing more intensive communication and engagement with stakeholders to reduce the gap between expectations and the services provided, optimizing media management to disseminate information on service improvements that have been made to foster positive perceptions among service users, establishing a management and supervision system for student works  so they can be utilized, and conducting regular monitoring and evaluation regarding internal oversight policies.

The ZI-WBK team agreed to follow up on all recommendations and hopes for optimal results in the future regarding services at Politeknik Negeri Ketapang.
