Joint Research: Politap and Bappeda Litbang Kayong Utara

Held in the Directorate hall on Friday, 11 February 2020, a final meeting was held for the implementation of joint research between Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) and Bappeda-Litbang of Kayong Utara Regency (KKU). Present at the meeting were the Director, Vice Director for Academic Affairs, Center Heads, Heads of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, the Cooperation Working Group, and  the Head of the Research and Development Division of the Regional Development Planning Agency of Kayong Utara Regency (KKU)

In his opening remarks, the Director stated that this activity was a follow-up to previous meetings held both at Politap and in Sukadana, as well as a follow-up to the MoU between the Regent of KKU and the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang.  The purpose of this meeting was to finalize the joint research plan between Politap and Bappeda Litbang, covering several key issues including intellectual property rights issues, research on strategies to reduce stunting rates, nutrition education and productive age mapping, MSME empowerment, transportation connectivity issues, and settlement and housing issues

The Head of the Research and Development Division of Bappeda Kayong Utara Regency stated that the activity could be carried out for 6 (six) months and could begin in March 2020.
