e-Filing Tax Return Socialization and Guidance by Pratama Tax Office

Employees of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) attended a socialization and technical guidance session organized by Ketapang Pratama Tax Office in the Directorate hall of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (26/2).

As employees holding an NPWP (Taxpayer Identification Number), filing an annual individual income tax return is mandatory. Previously, employee Annual Tax Return (SPT) reporting at Politeknik Negeri Ketapang was still conducted manually. However, with the e-filing system now available, taxpayers can file their SPT online and in real time without needing to visit the tax office. To support this, Ketapang Pratama Tax Office took the time to provide guidance to employees on utilizing e-filing for individual annual SPT reporting.

The event was officially opened by the Director of Politap, Mr. Endang Kusmana, followed by remarks from Ketapang Pratama Tax Office represented by Mr. Rizky Juanda. “Reporting taxes is easy now; there is no need to queue at the office and wait for a long time. With this e-filing, it becomes very simple. As long as there is internet access and a laptop or smartphone, it's done. I hope the tax office is no longer crowded with people waiting to pay taxes,” said the Head of the PDI Section of Pratama Tax Office with a smile.

The presence of the e-filing reporting system has made it easier for taxpayers to file returns anytime and anywhere. Requiring only internet access and a smartphone, taxpayers can readily access e-filing and submit their returns. Submissions can be completed directly via the DJP website or Online Pajak.

The socialization and technical guidance activity ran smoothly. Politap staff now understand the steps for reporting through e-filing and are expected to submit their individual taxpayer SPTs online for the upcoming reporting periods. (v)
