Lecturer Academic Rank Workshop

A total of 60 Politap lecturers participated in the Workshop on Lecturer Academic Ranks and Credit Score Preparation held on 1 August 2019 at the Aston Ketapang Hotel. Present at the workshop were resource persons from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Mrs. Tati and Mr. Deni. In the opening remarks, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) stated that currently the proportion of lecturers holding academic ranks has only reached 25% and those holding educator certificates has only reached 17.5%; therefore, the institution encourages that following this workshop, the number of lecturers with academic ranks can be increased.

Meanwhile, the two resource persons from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, namely Tati Supartiyah and Deni Ferdiana, provided comprehensive and detailed information so that the lecturers understood the material presented.

On this occasion, the signing of the Performance Agreement was also conducted between the Director and the Vice Directors regarding the 2019 Performance, which will be developed and cascaded down to subordinate units or officials so that performance indicators will subsequently be distributed to:
1. Director to Vice Directors
2. Vice Director for Academic Affairs to Head of Division, Head of Department, Head of Center, Head of Library UPT, Head of Language UPT
3. Vice Director for General Affairs and Finance to Head of Division
4. Vice Director for General Affairs and Finance to Head of Division, Head of Entrepreneurship UPT, Head of Information and Communication Systems UPT
5. Subsequent officials will hierarchically convey their performance reports down to employees in the form of Employee Performance Targets
