P3KM Holds Technical Guidance on Research and Community Service for Politap Lecturers

The Center for Research and Community Service of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) on Friday, 18 October 2019, held the 2019 Technical Guidance for Research and Community Service at the Asana Nevada Hotel Ketapang. This event was organized to provide preparation for lecturers of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang to be better prepared in developing research proposals.

This event also emphasized that higher education institutions manage research and community service that meet the standards set out in Permenristekdikti Number 44 of 2015 on National Higher Education Standards concerning the scope of national standards for research and community service, which includes standards for research and community service outcomes, content standards for research and community service, process standards for research and community service, standards for researchers and service implementers, standards for researchers and service implementers, facilities and infrastructure standards, research and community service standards, as well as research funding standards.

Lecturers attending as participants of the technical guidance enthusiastically listened to the presentations and engaged in discussions regarding preparations prior to conducting research. This event featured two competent resource persons in the field of research and community service: Dr. Ir. Anang Tjahjono, M.T from Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya with the presentation Success Story of Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya in Improving the Quality and Quantity of Research. Also present as a speaker was Dr. Ir. Yohana Sutiknyawati K.,M.P from Universitas Tanjungpura, who delivered a presentation on Tips for Successfully Securing the 2020 Higher Education Community Service Program (PKM).
