Politap and Pegadaian Host Financial Inclusion Webinar

Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic), in collaboration with PT Pegadaian (Persero), held a virtual financial education event for Politeknik Negeri Ketapang students on 14 November 2020. This event aimed to educate students on safe and protected financial industries, services, and products for the public, especially gold investment.

The event featured Mukhlis Hasriyadi, Vice President of PT Pegadaian (Persero) for the West Kalimantan area, along with a chit-chat session with influencers featuring Ade Tri W (Ketapang Youth Film Director) and Ade Setiawan (moderator from Pegadaian). The event was opened by the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Endang Kusmana. In his opening remarks, Endang stated that Politap is open to all parties who wish to share knowledge in various fields to foster the competence of Politap students. He also expressed hope that Pegadaian could support the implementation of problem-based learning at Politap.

Meanwhile, Mukhlis Hasriyadi, Vice President of PT Pegadaian (Persero) for the West Kalimantan area, presented an overview of Pegadaian's profile and financial inclusion, particularly gold investment, while the chit-chat session with influencers aimed to motivate students to keep abreast of modern developments regarding self-improvement. The event concluded with a Q&A session and door prize giveaways for webinar participants.
