Politap and Poltesa Ready to Synergize to Develop Regional Potential

Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) and Politeknik Negeri Sambas are ready to synergize to develop the potential of West Kalimantan, as jointly expressed by the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Politap) Endang Kusmana and Mahyus, Director of Politeknik Negeri Sambas (Poltesa), during a management meeting between Politap and Poltesa at Hotel Haris Pontianak on 18 October 2019. The meeting was attended by the Vice Directors, Heads of Centers, Heads of Departments, Heads of Technical Implementation Units (UPT), Heads of Divisions, and Heads of Subdivisions.

Both higher education institutions shared good practices from their respective polytechnics to serve as discussion material for enhancing their mutual quality. In his presentation, the Director of Politap discussed the empowerment of Information Technology or digital services to improve services for students, lecturers, educational staff, and the general public, while the Director of Politap outlined efforts to improve graduate quality according to their respective potential. Both Directors agreed to continue in subsequent meetings with more comprehensive activity plans.
