Politap and Poltesa Strengthen Vocational Education in West Kalimantan

SAMBAS – Wednesday (10/08/2022). Located at the Politeknik Negeri Sambas Campus, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) and the Director of Politeknik Negeri Sambas held a coffee gathering at Café Liber.co Poltesa with Maman Abdurahman, Deputy Chair of Commission VII of DPR RI, and Prabasa Anantatur, Deputy Speaker of the West Kalimantan Provincial DPRD.

This meeting took place following a discussion on the 4 (four) pillars of nationality, which was then followed by a discussion on the necessity of vocational education in West Kalimantan to mutually strengthen one another through their respective strengths, enabling each polytechnic to focus on developing its institution according to its potential.

Endang Kusmana, Director of Politap, hoped that polytechnics in West Kalimantan could be more responsive in facing the development of the National Capital City (IKN) on the island of Kalimantan. According to Endang, human resource preparation is the key to competing for job vacancies. (Finan Su)
