Politap and UPSMB Collaborate to Boost Human Resource Quality in West Kalimantan

The signing of the cooperation agreement between Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) and the Technical Implementation Unit for Goods Quality Testing and Certification of the West Kalimantan Department of Industry took place on Friday, 20 November 2020 at the UPT-PSMB Office of the Department of Industry on Jalan Abdurahman Saleh, Pontianak. Politeknik Negeri Ketapang was represented by the Director of Politap, Endang Kusmana, while UPT-PSMB was represented by the Head of the UPT, Mursalinsyah.

In his speech at the cooperation signing, Endang Kusmana stated that Politeknik Negeri Ketapang is currently continuing to develop and collaborate with various parties to improve the learning process. Cooperation with the Technical Implementation Unit for Goods Quality Testing and Certification of the West Kalimantan Department of Industry was carried out for student internships, calibration technical guidance, extension services, and technical consultation in the field of goods quality improvement.

The Head of the Technical Implementation Unit for Goods Quality Testing and Certification of the West Kalimantan Department of Industry, Mursalinsyah, conveyed the importance of goods quality testing, and the collaboration with Politap is expected to improve the quality of human resources, especially in Ketapang.
