Politap Attends National Scientific Seminar for 2022 Tax Day

PONTIANAK – Thursday (14/07/2022). Located at Grand Mahkota Hotel Pontianak, in commemoration of 2022 Tax Day, the West Kalimantan Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP) held a national scientific seminar themed “Spirit in Togetherness, Recover the Economy”.  

The Governor of West Kalimantan, H. Sutarmidji, S.H., M.Hum., in his opening remarks welcomed this event and expressed optimism that the tax sector is capable of driving economic recovery in West Kalimantan. In addition, there needs to be synchronization between central government regulations and local government regulations regarding regional tax levies.

In this national seminar, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) assigned the Vice Director for Academic Affairs of Politap, Adha Panca Wardanu, S.TP, MP. Following the event, he stated that the establishment of a tax center within Politeknik Negeri Ketapang represents Politap's support and commitment to enhancing public understanding and education regarding taxes, and that his institution is committed to continuously collaborating with Kanwil DJP Kalbar and KPP Ketapang in providing tax education to the community.
