Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic), through the Ketapang Against Corona program, once again deployed its volunteers to distribute handwashing sinks across several market locations in Ketapang on 3 May 2020. Vice Director for Student Affairs Epriyandi explained that Politeknik Negeri Ketapang continues to provide phased aid to prevent the spread of COVID-19; after distributing hand sanitizer, hazmat suits, and face shields to several community health centers (Puskesmas) in Ketapang Regency last week, it has now distributed handwashing sinks to several traditional markets in Ketapang.

Roni Bia Santo, Head of the Student Executive Board of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang and one of the Politap volunteers, explained that this sink assistance was provided to several traditional markets, including Sukabangun Market, Sukaharja Market, Pesisir Kinjil Market, and Sungai Jawi Market. The sinks provided were designed by students and the Ketapang Against Corona volunteer team. We will continue to deliver various forms of assistance and conduct educational outreach to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Ketapang City.
