Politap Establishes Youth Information and Counseling Center

On Saturday, 16 April 2022, the strengthening of the Youth Information and Counseling Center (PIK Remaja) group was held in the Politap Hall to support family life preparation for youth. This event, a collaboration between Politap and the Ketapang Regency Department of Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Family Planning, was attended by students of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic).

Vice Director for Student Affairs Epriyandi, who attended the event, stated that this activity was conducted in preparation for the establishment of GenRe (Adolescent Generation) as a Youth Information and Counseling Center (PIK Remaja) within Politap.

Epri added that Politap's GenRe is expected to strengthen the capacity of PIK Remaja in raising awareness about early marriage, premarital sex, sexual violence, and drug abuse so that students receive early education in an integrated and sustainable manner.
