Supporting MSMEs, Politap Explores Financing Information

On Saturday, 16 April 2022, in the hall of Harris Hotel Pontianak, the Director and Vice Director for Academic Affairs attended a business networking gathering for the socialization of Islamic financing organized by the Indonesian Islamic Businessmen Association (ISMI). This event was attended by West Kalimantan entrepreneurs, along with the Secretary General of Central ISMI and the Head of West Kalimantan ISMI.

The Director of Politap, who attended the event, highlighted the potential of Ketapang Regency regarding MSMEs partnering with Politap, noting that key challenges faced by MSMEs in business development include financing, licensing, marketing, packaging, and product quality standardization.

Politap is committed to assisting MSMEs through mentoring in licensing, marketing, packaging, and product quality standardization, whereas financing cannot be provided directly by Politap. Therefore, through this event, it is hoped that Ketapang MSMEs can obtain assistance regarding financing.

Endang welcomed the MSME financing options through Sharia principles, thereby providing opportunities for MSME actors to implement Islamic economics in their businesses.
