Politap & Hexindo Discuss Competency Needs for Heavy Equipment Management and Maintenance

The Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) and the partnership team conducted a working visit to PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk Ketapang on Friday, 11 September 2020. The Director was received by Handriyan, Adm. GA & Finance of PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa Ketapang. This activity of the Director and the partnership team is a routine working visit agenda of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang to industry to ensure that the implementation of higher education tridharma within Politap aligns with industrial needs.

Director of Politap Endang Kusmana, accompanied by Martanto and Amanda, shared information regarding the Politap Membangun Vokasi Dari Desa program, particularly regarding graduate competencies that intersect with the company's business in the heavy equipment sector. Endang requested input regarding graduate competencies in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Meanwhile, Handriyan from Hexindo stated that the potential for heavy equipment maintenance and repair in Ketapang is very promising as infrastructure development in Ketapang continues to grow.

Person in charge of Politap partnerships Martanto stated that Politap consistently shares information with industry parties; according to him, continuous communication with industry is needed so that mutual understanding between the vocational world and industry will continue to increase.
