Politap Holds 78th Independence Day Ceremony

The Director and the entire academic community of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) held a flag-raising ceremony commemorating the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, which took place at the Politeknik Negeri Ketapang Directorate Field. This ceremony was attended by all staff, students, and also involved all new students of the class of 2023.

The Director of Politap, Irianto Sastro Prawiro, ST., M.MA, in his address stated that from the nation's predecessors, we learn that independence must be fought for with body and soul. Indonesia's independence is the result of struggle. Likewise with Merdeka Belajar, where community collaboration sparks a major transformation in education.

In this year's Independence Day commemoration, ceremony participants wore traditional or regional attire as a symbol of the archipelago's diversity. On this occasion, the Director of Politap, acting as the ceremony inspector, wore traditional Sundanese attire from his birthplace. The accompanying Vice Directors also wore traditional attire from various regions.
