Politap Holds 80th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony, Two Lecturers Receive Satyalancana Karya Satya

Ketapang, 17 August 2025 – Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) held a ceremony commemorating the 80th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on Sunday, 17 August 2025, at the Politap Directorate Building courtyard. The ceremony proceeded solemnly starting at 07:00 WIB, attended by all staff and students.

The ceremony was led directly by the Director of Politap, Irianto SP, S.ST., M.MA., who served as the Ceremony Inspector. The order of service followed national guidelines, beginning with the hoisting of the Red and White flag, a moment of silence, the recitation of the Pancasila text, the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution, and the reading of the Proclamation text.

This year’s independence commemoration momentum became even more special with the conferment of the Satyalancana Karya Satya X Years Honorary Award to two Politap lecturers, namely:

1. Encik Eko Rifkowaty, S.T.P., M.P. – Lecturer (Lektor), recipient of the Satyalancana Karya Satya X Years.

2. Dr. Anto Susanto, S.S.T., M.P. – Lecturer (Lektor), recipient of the Satyalancana Karya Satya X Years.

The award was conferred based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 67/TK/Year 2025, as a form of appreciation for Civil Servants who have demonstrated loyalty, dedication, competence, honesty, and discipline in carrying out their duties.

In his address, the Director of Politap stated that the commemoration of the 80th Indonesian Independence Day serves as a moment to reflect on the struggles of the heroes while strengthening the spirit of devotion to the nation and state. He also expressed his appreciation to the recipients of the Satyalancana Karya Satya award, hoping that the honor would motivate the entire academic community to continue contributing to the enhancement of educational quality at Politap.

“May this award inspire all of us to consistently uphold integrity, improve performance, and provide the best service to society, nation, and state,” said the Director in his address.

The ceremony concluded with a prayer and final respects to the Ceremony Inspector. The entire event proceeded in an orderly and solemn manner, reflecting the enduring spirit of independence within Politeknik Negeri Ketapang. (Finn)
