Politap Holds 97th Youth Pledge Day Ceremony, “Youth on the Move, Indonesia United”

Ketapang, 28 October 2025 — Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) held the commemoration ceremony for the 97th Youth Pledge Day 2025 in the courtyard of the Directorate Building on Tuesday, 28 October 2025. The ceremony was held solemnly and attended by all staff and students across the campus.

In accordance with the circular from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, the entire Politap academic community was required to attend the ceremony as a tribute to the spirit of the youth in 1928 who pledged the unity of the Indonesian nation.

Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Irianto SP, S.ST., M.MA, served as the ceremony inspector and read the official address of the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia entitled “Youth on the Move, Indonesia United.”

In the address, the Minister of Youth and Sports conveyed that the struggle of today's youth is no longer waged with weapons, but through knowledge, hard work, and integrity.

“We live in challenging times, in a fast-moving world. Yet we must not be afraid, for we must believe that in every village, in every city, there are still honest, resilient, and courageous young Indonesians. That is our nation’s strength,” read the Minister's address delivered by the Director of Politap.

Through the momentum of this 97th Youth Pledge Day, the Politeknik Negeri Ketapang community is expected to continually foster the spirit of unity, mutual cooperation, and patriotism while contributing to the progress of the nation. (Finn)
