Politap Holds Workshop on Laboratory Quality Document Standardization

KETAPANG – Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) (Ketapang State Polytechnic - Politap) held a Workshop on the Standardization of Laboratory Quality Documents Based on ISO 17025 for Educational Laboratory Staff (PLP) on Thursday–Friday, 22–23 February 2024, at the Hall of the Directorate Building, 2nd Floor, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang.

Featuring the General Chair of the Indonesian Association of Educational Laboratory Staff (PPLPI), H. Sofyan, S.Si., M.Si., as the keynote speaker, this workshop was intended for all Educational Laboratory Staff (PLP), Laboratory Heads, and Heads of Departments at Politap. However, not only internal Politap PLP attended, but also PLP from Politeknik Negeri Pontianak (Polnep) and Politeknik Negeri Sambas (Poltesa).

This workshop was initiated by the Center for Learning Development and Quality Assurance (P4MP) to support the achievement of the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang in improving the quality of Diploma 3 and Diploma 4 graduates, one of which is by enhancing performance-oriented laboratory management and development.

The purpose of holding this Workshop on the Standardization of Laboratory Quality Documents Based on ISO 17025 was to improve the performance, competence, skills, and expertise of Educational Laboratory Staff (PLP) and Laboratory Heads at Politeknik Negeri Ketapang.

In addition, the output of this activity is the availability of standardized ISO 17025-based quality documents for all laboratories within Politeknik Negeri Ketapang. (Finn/Public Relations)
