Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) lecturer from the DIII Informatics Engineering Study Program, Ar-Razy Muhammad, was selected as a national facilitator for Creative Digital talent development organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency for 2020. This program is a government initiative to develop and enhance the capacity of creative economy actors, particularly Application Developers.

During this pandemic, Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf is directly providing fresh momentum for talent development as an effort to revive the economy, especially in the creative and digital sectors. Continuing the success of previous programs (2016–2019) under the Creative Economy Agency, which facilitated tens of thousands of application and digital solution developers, Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf is once again organizing the 2020 Creative Digital Talent Development Program.

This facilitation will focus on 2 (two) training subjects: Mobile Application Developer and Web Application Developer. The training topics are Learn Android Application Fundamentals and Build Progressive Web Apps. Participants will be required to complete prerequisite classes, which will be announced upon registration, to receive this facilitation. Facilitation participants will be equipped with materials, tutorials, exercises, and project-based learning complying with global standards from Google as the owner of Android and PWA technology, alongside support from mentors, facilitators, and online discussion forums to help participants complete this facilitation program. All activities (including events and facilitation) will be conducted online. The Creative Digital Talent Development Program of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency collaborates with Dicoding as a Google Authorized Training Partner in Indonesia. At the end of the facilitation program, Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf and Dicoding aim for graduates to achieve industry standards and strengthen Indonesia's digital economy ecosystem.
